Does it matter anymore??

In mothers on the front line, it talks about how they are either great when they stay at home or bad. That at one point I think they mentioned the amount of people who came out to vote was huge at one point. Either way I see it, the way it was where the husband worked and the wife stayed home is gone. Yes there are many who still stay home to work instead of having a paying job. But I think its not because they want to but have to simply because one parent cant make enough in this day to day world. When gas has been almost five dollars, where going to buy food can cost up to anywhere of 100 dollars to nearly 500 because of families of  six or seven kids. That nothing is cheap and that's why they need to go out and find a job just because this world has changed so much.

Some Family Readings

Well I will agree that these family readings will come in handy simply because it will give us a starting point of how we want to write are paper. If we want to talk about how the difference between a regular, what used to be modern day family vs. the interracial family vs. the same sex marriage and maybe even the single parent marriage as well. The way I see it is very hard and I plan to write my paper, I have nothing wrong with modern day family, interracial and single parent. At one time I was ok with same sex but then I thought about the future and how I would not want my children to always see it that ways. It may sound harsh but I will explain more in the family paper we write.
So my views have changed on some areas but I believe that that DOMA shouldn't take religious shots at people, political is one but religion I believe may be taking it to far. But  being honest I don't feel comfortable talking about the religion part so with that being said, that's enough for today.

Today is Friday the 21st and are English class today was great for a few reasons truth be told. One its a Friday and when you start your day knowing that I most the time turns out to be a great day any way. Well we had a few grammar schamammer go today and they were for the most part great or at least good. Goup number 2 went 1st and they had a few mistakes but at the end they got the point across, then Sean had created his own not talking to his but dang, I give him props even though he took shots, who only gets one ticket to any concert man? Even if it is JB.... But he had lyrics in his where we had to find the right one and overall it was funny and great and we got candy. The next group to go was Amber, Erin and Kait and they had a pretty good power point to and they had the time needed for it as well, they also had candy... Its candy cant go wrong with it so all groups did pretty well. At the end Sean had a laughing breakdown when the line "im not gonna answer" was said and everybody was kind of frozen except him and Sean who at this time was still dying on the other side of me and as we walked out of the class and even right now he still laughs.

Why I hate School but Love Education

Why I hate School but Love Education

We saw the video on Monday and well, its a very powerful video because I at times I really do hate school, it drives me crazy at times. And its small things that do, stuff like how teachers have two copies of test, they didn't even do that in high school. But back to the main topic, my dream goal is to become a dentist and I will be honest I love Richard bland but I wish I could just skip over everything before the dental. I am educated in that, not doing things like discussing wars in history, the brain in Psy and finding the cumulative frequency in math. That will not help me when I am about to either put or pull some ones tooth out. So I agree with what he said. that you can be educated but don't have to have certain degrees from college.
The only difference is that in this day to day world you must have a degree for almost every job there is. In home soon by mgk " See my teachers told me go away to college, but what they don't tell you is ain't no guarantees if you're a scholar, even with 18 degrees, you could be jobless with Uncle Sam in your pockets" and in some ways MGK is right. So its right you can love education and be an educated person but all in all hate school as well.

Top three..

Well we have are three topics we are going to write about and I agree and disagree with them and how we got there. But Mr. Sweeny did prove a point which ill talk about a bit later, even though the three topics are crime/punishment family and third being are choice. Crime and punishment was agreed by everyone in the class which I think was good because it at least gave us some kind of a starting point. Something to say "hey we got one out of three this should be easy..." I was wrong, I was so very wrong with that, beyond belief wrong. The next few classes we did nothing but argue and yell at each other with what looked like we never hit a end. We would get close but then one or two people including myself would  say something or disagree with the class and at this time Mr. Sweeny still believed that we could figure it out and compromise.
Well on Monday we start yet again but we suggest that we decide on one more topic and the third is whatever we want and you wouldn't believe what happened! Nothing, not a dang thing improved because we still had to come up with one more to agree on and at this point people didn't care but yet people still wanted to say no to different topics and so yet we discussed for yet another class until we finally agreed that we would do family. While the discussing part did not seem to work as very well, I do give credit to Sweeny simply because his main goal was for us to argue and think of an angle on how to write the paper. So congratulations Mr. Sweeny..
